Hey! My name is Miguel and I am a Junior majoring in Industrial Engineering. My hobbies are traveling, spending time with friends, cooking, and enjoying everything tech and car related. A relevant fact about me is that I am a Field Recruiting Intern at Tesla and a USF Ambassador. My favorite thing about BRASA is being able to impact people's lives with small actions and transform their future

Hey! My name is Maria Luisa and I am a junior majoring in Advertising. Some of my hobbies include playing the piano and cooking, and a relevant fact about me is that I am the public relations specialist at BRASA Connect. My favorite thing about BRASA is helping the Brazilian students at USF to get adapted to live in the US.

Hey! My name is Beatriz and I am a sophomore majoring in Finance. Some of my hobbies include getting coffee, watching tv shows, tennis, and formula 1; and a relevant fact about me is that I used to organize fundraising events and I delegated at Model United Nations. My favorite things about BRASA are the professional development events and working with a dedicated team to help the brazilian students.

My hobbies include recording tiktoks and exploring different cute coffee shops; and a relevant fact about me is that, due to my experience with social media, I got a content creator internship in a famous online magazine in Tampa, FL. My favorite things about BRASA are the events and our amazing team!

Some of my hobbies include playing guitar, and a relevant fact about me is that I am really into entrepreneurship and I'm a Santos F.C. fan. My favorite thing about BRASA is the environment among the members and the sense of community.

My hobbies include crochet and any manual activities; a relevant fact about me is that I created a project to produce recycled notebooks to donate to kids in need. My favorite thing about BRASA is that I met incredible people that are my second family here.

Hello! My name is Lua and I'm a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I'm passionate about helping others and I want a career in rehabilitation in the field of Sports Medicine. My hobbies include hanging out with my friends, dancing, going to the beach, and watching tv shows. I currently work at USF Housing Services and as an undergraduate research at NeuBaC Lab. My favorite thing about BRASA is how we all become a big family and a home away from home to each other.

A relevant fact about me is that I love traveling, which motivated me to learn 4 languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian) throughout my life to better communicate with different people in different places. My favorite thing about BRASA is this organization plays a crucial role in many members' lives, me included, in providing a sense of belonging and turning our new surroundings into a true home.

A relevant fact about me is that I’m the Fundraising Chair from ASME and I am an enthusiastic supporter of São Paulo FC. My favorite things about BRASA are the events and also the friendships that the organization provides us, making us feel like a family.

A curiosity about me is that I worked as an intern for an IT Company in Brazil before moving to the US, which helped me choose my major. My favorite thing about BRASA is the sense of community and the opportunity to help Brazilian students!

Hi there! My name is Mirella and I am currently an Econometrics sophomore at USF. Even though my major is math-oriented, I love reading in my free time and have a great passion for writing. A fun fact about me is that I have won an award for one of my published pieces! Lastly, my favorite thing about being part of BRASA is that I get to help organize and build partnerships for the organization!

Hey! My name is Rodrigo and I am a Junior majoring in Industrial Engineering. Some of my hobbies include tennis, soccer and, footvolley. A relevant fact about me is that I've been a tennis player since I was 8, and before coming to USF I played a year of college tennis. My favorite thing about BRASA is being able to help all Brazilians feel closer to home, like helping them with something or organizing an event that will bring everyone together.

It was also the moment that I realized what I really loved to do and decided on my major. Today, I work in a marketing agency as a business operations analyst. My favorite thing about BRASA is being able to connect with several people that are family and grow together.

Hi! I'm Luisa, a sophomore majoring in Management and Marketing. Outside of academics, you can often find me cherishing quality time with friends, volunteering at animal shelters, or social events. A fun fact about me is that in high school I founded my own organization called Girl Up, with the initiative of advocating for women's rights. BRASA is incredibly special to me; it has this amazing ability to make me feel at home, even when I'm far away from Brazil, and the relationships I've formed here are truly wonderful.
