BRASA at USF supports the Brazilian Council of Citizens in Tampa in the largest Entrepreneurship event



TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 17, 2018 - The Conselho de Cidadãos da Flórida (Florida Citizens Council) and BRASA at USF invite the Brazilian community for its Entrepreneur event to happen on August 30th at 5p.m. at the University of South Florida Oval Theater.


Empreendedorismo: práticas e fundamentos (Entrepreneurship: practices and foundations) is an event designed to provide current and future Brazilian Entrepreneur information and tips on how to start your own business in Florida, more specifically in the Tampa Bay region. The event is opened for anyone in the community that is interested.


This is the first time that the Conselho de Cidadãos da Flórida (Florida Citizen Council) and BRASA at USF partner in order to promote an event. This event focuses on future Brazilian entrepreneurs, however, it will be an advancement to the Tampa Bay area community and Florida in general. The event aims to have an impact on the growth of the Tampa Bay community, especially economically. Nonetheless, the event is an opportunity to engage the Brazilian community to the general Tampa Bay community.


The event will achieve its goals by providing presentation and panels with guests who have experience and have started and developed their business in the Tampa Bay area over the years. The event will focus on discussing and providing tips and guides to help participants to take their ideas of business to the next level and making they a reality.


The schedule is as follow:


• 5:00 p.m.: Reception | Networking - Oval Theater

• 5:20 p.m.: Opening with Ambassador Adalnio Senna Ganem, General-Counsel of Brazil in Miami - Oval theater

• 5:30 p.m.: Lectures:

  • “Internacionalização de Empresas: Como testar novos mercados” - Cassio Segura

  • “Energy Leadership: A chave da liderança ideal” - Vaine Angelo

• 6:20 p.m.: Q&A with speakers

• 6:35 p.m.: Coffee Break

• 7:00 p.m.: Panel with local entrepreneurs - what is important to know about the local practices and how to be an entrepreneur in Tampa Bay

• 7:40 p.m.: Q&A with local entrepreneurs

• 7:50 p.m.: Closing
